Ever since we started coming down to Gulf Shores, my kids have begged to check out The Track. Every year, they’d point it out from the car, asking “When can we go?!” Well, we finally gave in—and I’m so glad we did.

Now, full transparency: my husband and I are total beach people. We’d rather have our toes in the sand with a cold drink in hand. But the kids had been doing so great on our trip, so we promised them a special outing to The Track Family Fun Park.
Honestly? It was way more fun than I expected.
We started with the family go-karts, and y’all, even I couldn’t stop smiling whipping around those turns! Then we hit up the water bumper cars (hello, the perfect way to cool off after racing), and wrapped it up in the arcade, which I may or may not have enjoyed more than I’d like to admit. 😅
How the Points System Works (and Why I Loved It)
One thing I really appreciated was how simple and convenient their system is. Instead of dealing with tokens, tickets, or paper wristbands, everything runs on one points card. You load points onto the card and swipe it at each ride or game—no keeping track of piles of stuff while juggling kids. 🙌
Each activity costs a certain number of points, and you can buy different packages depending on how much you plan to do. We went with about 60 points, and that was just right for our family.
Bonus tip: Buy your points online! We got a few extra points for free by purchasing a package through their website instead of in person.
